9 GREAT POWERS THAT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Brain Tracy once said “success is predictable” And that is very true statement. That means if you do certain things in certain way you are bond to be successful or a failure. For example, there are universal laws that govern success and if you follow them then success is so obvious to you. And if you violate them they will violate you. These are great Powers that are available to us for our success.
Today, I want to suggest to you 9 great powers that if you utilize them you can literally change your life and enjoy success in your life.
This is one of great powers that make you undefeated if you discover and use it. Dr. Myles Munroe defines Purpose as “the original intent…the reason why something was created or made.” A person with purpose in his life has something to go for or rather something to look forward to. Purpose is something that pulls you towards the future and this is why it is so important. You may be weighed down by the past or influenced by various distractions but as long as you have purpose you will always be able to focus on your goals and you will easily overcome any challenges or obstacles in your path.
Self-confidence comes from feeling good about yourself and this is usually a result of knowing that at the end of the day you did your best. When you do what you said you would do, as long as you know that you gave it your best effort, your self-confidence will naturally be very strong. So whatever you do, always do your best.
The best type of enthusiasm is the kind you feel inside. This type of enthusiasm is created by purpose (do what you were created to do), self-confidence, and a willingness to help others – being your customers, your team or friends. This is genuine enthusiasm because any outward expression of this enthusiasm is only a fraction of the enthusiasm you feel inside. Always make a real effort to cultivate genuine enthusiasm.
Expertise is one of the great powers that if applied the result is tremendous. This means to excel in whatever you do and to settle for nothing less than an outstanding performance. It is the demonstration of the spirit of excellence in everything you do. You must be willing to demand the best of yourself and to be the best in your chosen field. If you excel in your profession, you will not only live comfortably but you will also be able to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. If you want an extraordinary income you must do extraordinary things. You must demand nothing less than the best of yourself and the best way to do that is to demand of yourself an extraordinary performance. The most successful people and products always distinguish themselves by performing extraordinarily.

This has always been an integral part of our lives because most of the things we do require some degree of preparation. This will boost efficiency and it will also make you in control of your circumstances.
There is an ancient wisdom, which says, “As the man think so is he”. And James Allen has cemented more about this wisdom on his book “As the Man Thinketh”. Always cultivate a positive image of someone who is in control because this image will attract the trust of the people around you. People usually have more confidence in someone who can take charge and who knows what they are doing. That is why we admire athletics. The way other people see you is very important. If they don’t see you as a leader, chances are they won’t pay attention to what you say and if they don’t see you as a focused and committed individual they probably won’t take you seriously.
Your character is vital to your success because you are more likely to succeed if you are a person of principle and integrity. The best way to cultivate a good character is through honesty and fairness and a willingness to be helpful and to do the right thing. Most people want to cut corners and get rich quick but this is not the right way to achieve success. Different people see things differently “Politicians always ask ‘Is it Popular’, the Timid will ask ‘is it safe’, but the Conscious will always ask ‘is it right’. Before you do anything always ask yourself is it right?
This is the ability or the commitment to do the things that you said you would do even after the feelings that made you say that you will do has left you. It is self-discipline that will make you a winner. The ancient wisdom says, “Faith without action is dead”. You must put disciplined actions to you dream. I have came to realize that Success or Failure is not an event but rather a habitual. It is a collection of things that we do on daily basis. Therefore, successful/positive habits will lead to successful life and negative habits will lead to negative/failure life.
Even at the corporate life. A lot can be accomplished if every person in an organization resolves to do their part well and to discipline himself or herself to work towards the implementation of the organization’s objectives. Each person’s job is an essential component of the organization’s vision and if everyone in the organization has the self-discipline to their job, the vision will eventually become a reality.
